SLAVERY AND HUMAN TRAFFICKING STATEMENT

(Voluntary Statement Issued Pursuant to Section 54 of the Modern Slavery Act 2015)

North Defence is a designer and manufacturer of specialised vehicles serving both civil and defence sectors. We pride ourselves on our agility to build what the frontline needs, alongside our speed and efficiency in production.

We are committed to ensuring that there is no modern slavery or human trafficking in our supply chains or in any part of our business and operate a zero-tolerance policy.

We have made a commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all our business relationships and to implementing and enforcing effective systems and controls to ensure slavery and human trafficking is not taking place anywhere in our supply chain and other business relationships, in order that our customers can purchase our products with confidence.

Additionally, we aspire for our immediate suppliers to operate to the highest standards, and we aim to use our influence to ensure that slavery and human trafficking is not taking place within their operations, together with their assurance that they seek similar commitment through their own supply chain.

Our recruitment procedures require all prospective employees to provide documentary evidence of their legal entitlement and right to work at our facilities in both the UK and Luxembourg, and our Disclosure of Information (Whistleblowing) Policy is available for reporting concerns in respect of modern slavery or human trafficking.

There have been no reported instances of human trafficking or slavery activities within our organisation, nor have we become aware of any allegations made against any of our suppliers.

Over the coming year we will continue to carry out reasonable and practical due diligence in sourcing throughout our supply chain and re-emphasise the obligations of the Modern Slavery Act within our procurement processes.
